Welcome to Kosha, a holistic facial studio founded by Anastasia Talan.
In our facials we focus on a massage more than anything else.
I truly believe that standard facials can't solve the main challenge - changes in bones, fascia, muscles and fat tissues as we age. And you can do as many peels as you can, but they basically burn the top layers of the skin and eventually it becomes thin and fragile. With the massage, we are able to approach deeper and manipulate the lymph and blood flow, increase your natural elastin & collagen production, sculpt and lift the muscles.
What does facial massage do? It improves skin suppleness because it reduces and releases muscle tension in the face and jaw. It's powerful enough to release stuck fascia within the layers of the skin. By stimulating rejuvenation and cellular activity, facial massage can help to tighten the skin and underlying muscles and reduce expression lines and wrinkles. Furthermore, the massage promotes blood and lymphatic circulation, increasing the supply of nutrients to the cells and decreasing puffiness. Lastly, it aids in the removal of dead skin cells to reveal a fresh glowing skin. And I personally find it very helpful against my acne.
Anastasia had gone through numerous trainings and workshops. Asia, Europe, India and USA. She combined advanced European esthetics with American standards of service and a deep understanding of holistic approach and created KoSha Spa.
Her buccal technique was featured on Youtube, Netflix and Good Morning Britain.
And meet our wonderful team:
Polina is an artist and an esthetician. She is extremely intuitive and kind, and her warm angelic presence shines far away. She has a touch that instantly relaxes and puts you into a great mood. She has a deep knowledge of peels and treating various skin concerns using natural methods. Polina specializes in Lymphatic, Cupping, Buccal and lifting massages.
Holly is a trained and passionate esthetician, and despite looking young she's already a mother of 2 kids and a skillful practitioner. Holly believes that working with the body’s own natural healing process can improve and resolve many conditions that are skin related. She specializes in buccal, sculpting massage, extractions and gua sha.
Olga has always been a fan of everything natural. Her mom taught her to use herbs and oils in her skincare and do a self massage to heal headaches, cramps and even sinuses. She is extremely intuitive energy worker and has a healing touch. Olga specializes in Japanese, Lymphatic and Buccal massages, plus Reflexology and Sound Bath healing.
Where did you learn buccal massage?
I have studied in Russia privately with 2 different teachers and also developed my own technique throughout the years of practice. I combine classic buccal with oral muscles stretching and myofascial release.
Do you teach?
Yes I do. I have an online course as well as in person training. Please check the "training" tab
Do you take new clients?
I do, but my schedule is somewhat limited. I do have other amazing therapists at the spa - and they are easier to get an appointment with. They are all trained in USA & Europe as well and are constantly having private trainings with me.
Favorite skincare line?
You can find 99% of all my favorite products at koshaspa.com/shop. I sell what I truly believe in and personally use. My concept of ideal skincare product is "clean" but effective for what it's treating whereas it's acne or dehydration.

Do you do reiki or any other type of energy work?
Yes I always do some type of energy work in my facials. That's why people usually leave me feeling much "lighter". I renew the energy flow and cleanse the aura while giving massages. That's just my mindset - I can't work with just the body. Same goes for other Kosha practitioners - they are natural healers. And touch in general is always about energy exchange.
Do you do facials on any other body parts?
Sorry, no. We only work with the face and include chest, shoulders, scalp and décolletage.
Do you do house calls?
Occasionally. Please text/call at 310-307-0150 or email email@example.com to inquire
